IT was very cool this morning.
Today I made fudge. Also listen to music at the same time.

I am starting to make candles. I have made a few and they look nice.

Friday and Saturday Dad and I went to a camp out at some friends back yard (Josh was on drill). It rained the first day, but the second day I and the boys there went swimming at their pit. There was a big jump you could do.

Also we started to drywall a house.

Recipe

Lemon Bar Trifle



Ingredients

Crust
2 cups of all purpose flour
1 cup butter melted

Lemon Mixture
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cornstarch
1/4 cups of all purpose flour
1 3/4 cups of cold water
3 egg yokes beaten
2/3 lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter

Cream Cheese Mixture
1 8 oz package of cream cheese softened
3 cups powered sugar
1 8 oz carton of Whipped Topping thawed

In a small bowl , stir flour and butter together. Press into a ungreased pan 13x9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes until golden brown; cool on a rack.

In a large sauce pan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and flour. Stir in water, stirring until smooth. Cook and stir over medium high heat until thickened and bubbling. Reduce heat; cook and stir 2 minutes longer.


Remove from heat and stir in a small amount of the hot mixture into the eggs yolks; return all to the pan, string constantly. Bring to a gentle boil, cook and stir another two minutes. Stir in lemon juice and butter. then transfer to a bowl and chill.


In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and powered sugar until smooth. Slowly beat whipped topping in. Crumble the crust and set aside 1/2 cup of it.


In a trifle bowl (or large bowl) put crust down, then half of the lemon mixture making it smooth, then half of the cream mixture making it smooth, then repeat and sprinkle the 1/2 cup of crust on top.

Trip

We (that means the family) are going on a trip. It will be to Kentucky to a creation museum.
We will be gone for a day. It will take twenty-two hours there and back.

My sister made the background for me.

I have bought several things for my goats electric netting, a battery, an energizer, and a solar panel to charge the battery; but I do not have the goats. I have designed the pen on paper, and the list of materials are ready.

Book

A while a go I started a book and I finally reached 556 words today.

Digging

Yesterday I planted five trees in the front yard and three grapevines in the back.

An Explosion!

An experiment I once tried was a volcano in Mission, TX. First, I shredded newspaper up into thin strips. Then, I formed it and glued them together. Then, I painted it brown (because Wal-Mart did not have black) with a small paintbrush, so that you could not tell it was newspaper; and when the volcano dried, I took it into the dining room. And I filled it with banking soda, and when I added vinegar- kabboom! The volcano exploded and erupted into bubbles flowing over the vent’s boundaries. Also, Mom allowed me to put in more baking soda making another explosion, and the molecular structure was changed immediately, and the experiment was over. I enjoyed doing the experiment and would like to do it again, and I also have pictures of it that Mom took during the eruption.

Update!

We have moved into our house! I caught a sixteen in. bass in a pond behind our house. Dad and my brother caught a good size carpi and bass. We butchered the turkeys and rosters.

And now for my finally update SCHOOL HAS STARED to quote Pilgrims Progress "HIP HIP HURRAH."

The windows are in, the wire run in the attic, the insulation board on, and the shingles are about half way.
