Fun and work

Last Friday night we watched Fiddler on the Roof with our church. I made some Key Lime Bars for it also.

Last week we started a drywall job (the house is about five thousand square feet) The job will take awhile (because our uncle who helps will be gone).

Dad's thumbnail

Awhile ago my dad smashed his thumbnail at work (helping my grandpa, who's in construction). Later he drilled a hole in his nail so that the blood underneath could drain. Before he started, he sreamed to scare mom, who went into the other room.
Today he cut most of it off because it started to come off, so that it would not be snagged and be ripped off.

The Egg

We bought some cornish crosses and one turn out to be an Americana Chicken, which is a rainbow layer. Today she layed a blue-green egg. When we showed Mom her mouth dropped open. It was funny.

A hair cut

I will be getting a hair cut today, and it will be extremely short.

Then I will take a bath.

Gardening

Today we did some planting in our garden. We planted peas and weeded a row.

The wind was very chilly outside.
